Professional, needs-based and species-appropriate feeding, an airy, light building with large stables and paddocks, hoof care, veterinary care, holistic horse training and much more: this is what your horse can expect at the Brainpoldhof! We have created an oasis for people and animals and we look forward to hopefully welcoming you as a new stable clients soon!
Our services:
Indoor riding hall
Our indoor riding hall has an area of 20 x 40 meters and can be used by our stable clients at any time. A vast jumping course is available on request, as well as various training aids.
Stables
Each of our 34 stables in the main stable building has a footprint of 3×4 meters and is equipped with a 3×6 meter paddock. The stables have heated drinking troughs.
Common room
For our stable clients there is a cozy common room with a kitchen and a large terrace for approx. 30 people. There are separate toilets and a shower. The room can be used for private parties on request.
Feeding
Our guest horses receive feed in the form of hay and / or silage, straw and, if necessary, concentrate feed. Feeding is carried out according to our company standards and can be further customized with our special feed package.
Pasture
In summer season, our guest horses can use our extensive pasture. The pasture service can be booked in addition to the basic package. We also offer with our movement package horse walker and participation in regular free jumping.
Veterinarian service
On request, our veterinarian will be happy to help and advise you on the care of your horse. We also have a specialist for dental treatment and another for equine osteopathy on site.
Farrier
You can either have your own farrier come to us or you can rely on the services of our proven partners. Of course, we also maintain contacts with alternative hoof workers, which we can arrange for you if necessary.
Cleaning & washing
The Brainpoldhof has two washing places (one inside and one outside), a solarium and several cleaning places. You get a large locker for your cleaning material in the common saddle room.
Riding & driving
Our estate has direct access to an extensive network of trails for driving and riding!
You can safely store your carriage in our hall. Saddles, bridles and harnesses find their place in the saddle room.

How long does a training take?
Basically, the pace of training is determined by the respective horse. As a guideline, however, you can count on 6-8 weeks until the horse has internalized the necessary basic knowledge for a life as a future riding horse.
How long does it take to make my horse a carriage horse?
As with riding, the training period depends on the horse. However, a thorough and horse-friendly training requires enough time. At least 8 weeks should therefore be planned for a sensible and safe entry.
What about self-sufficiency?
We only offer full board, so self-sufficiency is not possible with us. There are also practical reasons for this, because in order to optimally look after and care for your horse, we always want to be able to control what and how much it eats.
Do I have to bring my horse to the pasture myself?
No, this is part of the pasture service and we will do it for you. We bring your horse to the pasture and bring it back to the stable. Of course you can always bring your horse from the pasture yourself when you come to visit it.
It’s the same with the horse walker and free jumping: you don’t have to worry about anything. This is especially ideal if you can’t get to your horse to move it.
Does my horse have to have any previous knowledge in training?
No, your horse does not require any special previous knowledge. We like to work with still “raw” horses. However, it is helpful if your horse is already used to halters.
Can you get lessons on school horses from you?
Yes, we have very well trained school horses on which advanced students can further improve their riding or driving skills in individual lessons.
